Top Chain Restaurants are not as transparent as we thought.

Thought I'd share this recent CNN report exposing the alarming number of antibiotics used in the meat

and poultry industry. Between 70-80% of antibiotics sold in the U.S. are used in factory farms. The highly toxic meat and poultry are then purchased by top restaurant chains. The chart summarizes the grade of the top 25 restaurants that were investigated and 20 of those received an "F" obtaining zero points for there practices.

We gather with our friends and families at these noted restaurants trusting that the appetizing meals are safe and supplying our bodies with the proper nutrients and vitamins. Instead, it poisons are bodies impeding our quality of life and life span.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated in its recent report Antibiotic Resistance Threats in the United States, 2013, "Up to half of antibiotic use in humans and much of antibiotic use in animals is unnecessary and inappropriate and makes everyone less safe.” 

Chain Reaction is a new report and scorecard that grades America’s top restaurant chains’ on their policies and practices regarding antibiotics use and transparency in their meat and poultry supply chains.
